Tokyo Gakugei University
去年、二回目になりますが、東京学芸大学で留学生の皆さんの前で落語をさせていただきました。今日、先生が写真を送ってくださいました。懐かしいですよ。留学生はめっちゃ笑ってくれて、させていただいている私自身、とても楽しかったです。今年また呼んでいただけるといいですね。

明日本番です！今日のリハーサルなんとか上手くいけまして、今日の１時くらいまで練習します。

Osaka International Exchange Rakugo Event
Yesterday it was my great pleasure to do a Rakugo workshop and performance English Rakugo performance at the wonderful Osaka International House.
The audience of about 70 was unbelievable - very supportive and spoke and understood English really well!!! Thank you so much to everyone who came out!
And thank you especially to the staff at the International House for an outstanding effort in putting together a great event!

Dance at Hanjotei
昨日は繁昌亭で踊りのお稽古ありました。本当は毎週の月曜日にありますが、最近仕事で忙しくて暫くの間休んでいました。
他のメンバーはかなり上達していました！！！
今後とももっともっと頑張らないと！！

Today's Lunch
踊りのお稽古と打ち合せの間ちょっとしか時間がありませんでしたが、今日は家の近くのイタリアン・レストランでランチを大変美味しくいただきました。
今日のプレートのキーポイントはイタリアンハンバーグでした。レモンの味付けで、上はモツァレラとゴルゴンゾーラーチーズ。最高でございました。
最後のエスプレッソも最高です。
マスターのSalvatoreさんも一緒に座って頂きまして、人生について深い話しをしていました。

Today's lunch was Italian, a little place accross the street from my apartment. Salvatore, the owner, made me a tomato sauce penne with italian hamburger topped with mozarella and gorgonzola cheese. Delicious. I almost ordered a second lunch plate.
Salvatore sat with me and we had a good talk about life, as usual.
See you soon Salvatore! (Maybe tomorrow!)

Theatre Rehearsal and Dinner with Hanako Shisho!
Today we had a theatre rehearsal at Namba Grand Kagetsu. It was a long rehearsal, and after, Hanako-Shisho treated us to dinner.
Japanese shabu-shabu!

On the air today!
今日の深夜番組、ＫＴＶ「さたうま」でちょっとだけださして頂きます。先日のロケはこのメンバーでした：福永騎手、シャンプー・ハット兄さん方、と、 リー５世。今まで競馬はあんまり興味がなかったんですが、福永騎手にお会いしましてファンになりました。これから競馬も勉強しないと。
On the air tonight, we actually filmed in Kyoto a few days ago. The show is Kansai Television's "Sata Uma", which is a show focusing on horse racing. The main guest was the famous Japanese jockey Mr. Fukunaga. He was super super nice. I might just get hooked on horse racing.
The show is hosted by the Japanese Manzai comedy team "Shampoo Hat", also in the picture. The invited Lee and I on for a cameo. It was great watching the, work - they are really excellent TV hosts.
Thanks guys!!!

Visiting Mr. Seno Again
先日見台と膝隠しを作っていただいた妹尾さんに、今度は、繁昌亭のレプリカを作っていただきました。突然私の部屋について取材が入って、妹尾さんが無理して早く作ってくださいました。カメラマンさん達がとても興味を持ってくださって、繁昌亭の写真をたくさんとってくださいました。この写真は本に載せてくださるそうです。とても楽しみにしております。
妹尾さんのお陰で素晴らしい取材ができました。

Mr. Seno, pictured here, crafted me a scale model of the Hanjotei Rakugo Theatre. I was suddenly contacted by a book publisher about a photo book they wanted to include me in, including pictures of my apartment. When I told Mr. Seno this, he put the model together in record time! The photographer's were extremely interested in the model theatre and took alot of closeups of it.
The book will be published in May.
